Panasonic have fully embraced the new exciting world of high definition Blu-ray players, and in the past and have built some exceptional players that fully utilized the benefits of Blu-ray and the latest functionality available.
Their new range of Blu-ray players is no exception, but not only do they offer everything that was good about the previous machines like the DMP-BD35, but they also improve on them too with next generation capabilities.
The new Panasonic DMP-BD60 is an attractive Blu-ray player with its slightly understated looks ensuring it will complement or match many different televisions from the various brands. Whilst the design is not quite as sleek or cutting edge as some of the other players from the likes of Samsung or LG, the design is simple and conservative enough to ensure that it will not date as much as the others.
The front panel is completely clean with no visible buttons to spoil the looks, but a fold down flap on the bottom right hand side reveals the playback buttons an SD card slot and a USB socket. What will a floor look like after it has been sanded will depend largely on the age and condition of the boards before sanding. If you have old pine boards they tend to give off a yellow colour if clear lacquer is used, the younger the pine board the whiter they will appear after lacquer. You can always use a stain on new boards as this will give new boards the appearance of old boards the darker the stain the better or more authentic they will appear.
If you are re-sanding a sports hall you need to check the make as many sports floors will have a lacquer designed especially for it for instance Junckers Sports Floor is a suspended wooden floor that requires a Junckers sports lacquer made by Junckers. If you are unable to get the maker of the floor it may well be worth getting an expert to come out and check the floor before you re-sand it as in the long run this could save you time and money.
If you are sanding parquet flooring you will need to use a different type of floor sander to the continuous floor sander as a continuous floor sander will leave marks on the parquet that will be difficult to remove. The sander you need looks more like a buffer or cleaning machine it has a circular base which you attach pads of different grit to sand in a circular motion this reduces the makes made. You will start with a 24 or 40 grit pad and work up to a 120 grit pad as you move through the grits you will see the floor looking smoother and smoother.
If you are re-sanding a wooden floor remember you must remove all original varnish or lacquer as the new lacquer will not adhere to the old lacquer and will cause the new lacquer to peel and result in the floor needing to be re-sanded again.
